Vancouver's Nardwuar is famous for his incredibly detailed and well-researched interviews, impressing some of the biggest names in interviewing.
The long-time radio and TV personality has caught so many celebrities and rappers off guard with questions there are multiple compilation videos of those moments, of views.
Among those who respect and are influenced by him is Sean Evans, the host of Hot Ones, the popular YouTube interview show where famous folks are asked questions while eating increasingly spicier chicken wings. The show has become one of the most popular on the platform.
While interviewing Sydney Sweeney (White Lotus, Euphoria, Reality), Evans asked an incredibly specific question about Sweeney's high school days.
"How did you find that out?" Sweeney asked after answering the question.
"You're Sydney Sweeney, we have to know," answered Evans, echoing Nardwuar, who often says the same thing when he blows his interview subjects' minds.
"Shout out Nardwuar," adds Evans.
The show moves on, but many Nardwuar fans jumped into the comments section to heap praise on him after hearing Evans's comment.
"Nothing put a smile on my face more than the small shout out to Nardwuar," wrote one.
It wasn't the first time Nardwuar has been referenced on the show; in 2020, Justin Timberlake, impressed by one of Evans's questions, responded with the locals name.

It's not the first time Evans has lauded the Human Serviette.

He goes on to explain how Nardwuar's research led to amazing, human interview moments.
"Nardwuar was the first person who I ever saw who could manufacture those kind of moments," he said.
