While the name has changed, tulips will still be the focus of an upcoming flower festival.
Formerly known as the Chilliwack Tulip Festival, the is launching this year as a "newly envisioned event," according to a press release from organizers.
The is returning to the Pauls family's Fraser Valley farm at , named Botanica, this spring. While an exact opening date hasn't been set, it's expected to be ready in early April and run until late May.
Over 13 acres there will be 59 different types of tulips; in total 1.5 million bulbs are planted. Pathways will be set up so people don't have to .
