A few weeks back me and Tyler Quarles got accepted to the Portland Cut and Paste design competition test rounds. I didnt move on, but Tyler got accepted as one of the 8 contestants for the live battle. There are 2 rounds with 4 heats. You are given a topic ahead of time to develop your concept and practice doing it in the 15 min time frame. Unfortunately Tyler didnt advance to the second round but he certainly gave them a run for there money. Its funny how close to the border Portland is and we were still a novelty having been from Vancouver.
