Hoping to catch a glimpse of a caped superhero in Gastown? Trying to unearth some spoilers from the hottest show of 2022?
This fall in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»(and surrounding areas), there’s is a mix of long-term favourites (like The Good Doctor), breakout hits (like Yellowjackets) and final seasons (The Flash, A Million Little Pieces) filming throughout October and into November. As always, there are several made-for-TV holiday movies that are on the go throughout such cities as Vancouver, Burnaby, Langley, Abbotsford and Victoria.

Tiger Mom
Cast: Lisa Lu, Zhang Jingchu, Michelle Krusiec.
Premise: A Chinese-American mother enrolls her underachieving teens at Tiger Academy, a school that prioritizes academic excellence (and an Ivy League education).
Filming until October 21, 2022.
Valiant One
Cast: Chase Stokes (Outer Banks).
Premise: After their military helicopter crashes in North Korea, US Army non-combat soldiers must protect a civilian specialist as they try to find their way out of the Korean Demilitarized Zone.
Filming until November 1, 2022.
Popular TV shows filming in-and-around Vancouver
Yellowjackets (season 2)
This award-nominated and critically acclaimed series (which jumps between teens in the 90s and present-day) follows the adult survivors of a plane crash. It combines several genres: coming-of-age, mystery, horror, psychological thriller — and makes for a compelling watch. It films in both Los Angeles and Vancouver. Past shooting locations include Finch’s Tea House, Holy Rosary Cathedral, the 2400 Motel and forested areas (if you’ve watched the show, you know why). Star Juliette Lewis does have a complaint with B.C. — she can’t find a satisfactory cold brew.

Nancy Drew (season 4)
Nancy Drew seemed to be on the cusp of cancellation but was renewed for its fourth season. It often films in Horseshoe Bay, Port Coquitlam and North Vancouver.
Filming until December 15, 2022.
A Million Little Things (season 5)
It’s likely this will be the final season of A Million Little Things — over the years it has filmed at the Pacific Coliseum, Templeton Secondary, the Lamplighter in Gastown, and on West Fourth Avenue.
Filming until March 3.
Kung Fu (season 3)
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»subs in for San Francisco, and filming is done on a sound stage in Langley as well as around town at the Dr. Sun-Yat Sen Classical Chinese Garden and exterior scenes on the streets of Chinatown.

Premise: Over the summer, this live-action Apple TV+ Godzilla series filmed around Harrison Hot Springs and Steveston.

Premise: This is the working title for the highly anticipated new Disney+ Percy Jackson series.

Straight Man
Cast: Fresh off his critically acclaimed run as Saul Goodman, Bob Odenkirk is starring in AMC's Straight Man.
Premise: Adapted from the Richard Russo novel of the same name and centred around William Henry Devereaux, Jr. (Odenkirk), an out-of-place university English chair who runs into a series of absurd situations, including a dispute with a duck, a confrontation with his philandering father, and marital strife.
