Here are the top St. Patrick's Day events in Vancouver

St. Patrick's Day weekend is upon us and Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­has several options to mark the greenest celebration of the year. 

From a fun green run to a bougie yacht party to a free block party, check out different ways to enjoy the green occasion across the city. 

Enjoy sips from a full wine menu, "Irish-themed" cocktails, and local craft beers, and eats like traditional Shepherd's Pie.

"Vancouver’s beloved party maestro DJ Abel will be setting the stage with a special blend of Hip-Hop, Soca, Afrobeat, and House tunes," according to the event description.

Attendees should rock their "best green outfit" for a fun time.  

When: Sunday, March 17, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Where: Catalyst Café - 425 W 6th Ave

St.Patrick's Day Street Party

Performances from Celtic dancers, traditional music, a beer garden, and more. 

When: Sunday, March 17, from 10 a.m. and run to 6 p.m. 

Where: 200-block of Carrall Street between Water and Cordova streets.

Cost: Free

Be Irish for the weekend -- or at least Saturday night -- on the high seas.

While the water won't be green, folks on board the yacht can party for three hours to "pulsating beats" with a live DJ who plays top 40 tunes. 

The Abitibi Vessel has two levels to explore including an indoor "heated salon" and an open deck that affords breathtaking views of the city and coastline. 

When: Saturday, March 16 boarding at 8 p.m., cruise from 9 p.m. until midnight

Want to enjoy a healthy experience on St. Patrick's Day? 

Join an "easy social run"  for runners of all levels that should take about half an hour to complete. They typically do about 4 km to 5 km during that time.

Be sure to dress in green and accessorize for the fun activity. 

When: Sunday, March 17 at 2:30 p.m.

Where: David Lam Park - 1300 Pacific Blvd.

Cost: Now until Saturday, March 16: $5 and taxes. Sunday, March 17: $10 and taxes

Fabulous queens, hearty eats, and plenty of laughs are in store for this green midday event. 

Performers include Phyllis Hull, Dee Monstrative, Cuddleberry Finn, Manly Nipkiss, and Jerriana.

When: Sunday, March 17 at noon

Where: Burgoo - 101 - 1100 Burrard St.
