The Stanley Park Ghost Train returns for another year of spooktacular fun for all ages.
The annual event takes place from October 11th to October 31st, and is inspired by Halloween as well as other spooky tales. In addition, this year's theme is Jack O'lantern's journey through the dark forest. This family event is open to all ages and offers a glimpse of the goblins and ghoulish characters inhabiting the stories, legends and folklore of Halloween and Harvest celebrations.
"Poor Jack! He may be dead as a doornail but instead of resting in peace, he wanders trapped in an ancient Celtic Halloween world where nothing is what it seems."
Visitors will be able to join Jack on his journey as his lantern casts a light on floating druids, a 12-foot monster, and creatures barely human! Several trains depart during each half-hour time slot.
Activities in the plaza and farmyard include:
- The Haunted Maze/The Little Monsters Maze
- Crafts and movies
- Exhibits by the Stanley Park Ecology Society
- Our pumpkin patch
- Food vendors: Insomniac’s Coffee, The Praguery, Kobachi Kart, Jack O’s Café & Canteen
