One of the holiday season's most dazzling sights in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»is now up and running, as the annual got underway recently in North Vancouver.
Featuring awe-inspiring lights strung across and up (up, up, up!) some of the world's biggest "Christmas trees," along with a twinkling light tunnel, an illuminated "treetop walk" and of course the park's iconic suspension bridge shimmering in festive colours, Canyon Lights is a treasured local tradition that is like stepping into a sparkling forest.
Fun for the family or perfect for a date - so long as you aren't afraid of heights - Canyon Lights is a great way to immerse yourself in the spirit of the holiday season.
After taking a pause in 2020 due to the pandemic, the light festival is back to make 2021 wrap up - and 2022 get underway - in the brightest way possible.
Canyon Lights opened to the public on Nov. 20, 2021, and runs through January 23, 2022, stretching the magic and wonder of the season well into the new year - though, take note, the park is closed on Christmas Day.
Take a look at some of the beautiful images that people who visited Canyon Lights on its first few days have shared online.
Merry and bright!
