Deadpool's fan-favourite characters Dopinder and Blind Al are confirmed to return for the upcoming threequel.
Karan Soni, who plays Deadpool's taxi-driving sidekick Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams, whose character is the antihero's roommate Blind Al, have accompanied Deadpool throughout the first two movies.
Now the duo will join Ryan Reynolds in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) alongside Hugh Jackman and newest cast members Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfayden, reports on March 29.
The third Deadpool movie will be the first film of the franchise to join the MCU.
Reynolds shared the news on social media, sweetly captioning a tweet "BFF's" with accompanying heart and sword emojis.
Reynolds and Shawn Levy are set to direct the upcoming movie and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will join them as producers.
The day before (March 28), Blake Lively stopped by Team Deadpool's writers' room for a visit, bringing along a themed loaf of bread.
"DeadBoule," the actress wrote in an Instagram story. See the Deadpool-esque bread below:
