Vancouver's buzzing film industry means locals can catch a sneak peek of the hottest shows, snag photos with actors, and witness mind-blowing stunts and sets. 

This spring and summer the city will see all sorts of film sets, from superhero shows and pilot episodes to new feature films and final seasons. 

Here is what's filming in Vancouver:

Movies filming in Vancouver 

Bad Genius

Cast: Benedict Wong, Jabari Banks, Callina Liang

Premise: A group of senior high school students team up to take down a rigged college admissions system.  

Filming until June 5

In the Blink of an Eye

Cast: Kate McKinnon, Rashida Jones, Daveed Diggs

Premise: Three storylines spanning thousands of years reflect on hope, connection, and the circle of life.

Filming until May 16

Mother Land (originally Never Let Go)

Cast: Halle Berry, Anthony B. Jenkins, Percy Daggs IV

Premise: A new thriller called Mother Land (working title is Never Let Go) stars Halle Berry as the mother of an isolated family in the woods who has been haunted by an evil spirit. Filming is set to begin in late March.

All My Friends Are Dead

Cast: JoJo Siwa, Jade Pattyjohn

Premise: A group of college friends rent an Airbnb for the biggest music festival of the year but a weekend of partying takes a bloody turn as the group is murdered one by one.

Curios Caterer: Last Suppers

Cast: Nikki Deloach, Andrew W. Walker, Jaycie Dotin

Premise: A pastor is killed just before Goldy's wedding and Tom disappears after finding his body, leaving behind a mystery. The third movie is reportedly based on Diane Mott Davidson's third book of the same name.

Festival Of The Living Dead

Premise: A group of teenagers head to The Burning Zombie festival for a fun weekend when the event turns into a zombie-infested bloodbath. 

Filming until May 16

Love At The Bootcamp (also Boot Camp)

Cast: Drew Ray Tanner, Rachel Boudwin

Premise: An unathletic Whitney Carmichael starts to fall for her personal trainer after signing up for an intense summer boot camp to reinvent herself.

My Christmas Hero

Cast: Candace Cameron Blue

Premise: A U.S. Army reservist and orthopedic physician is dedicated to serving military service members and their families. With the help of many dedicated heroes, she is on a mission to honour a special fallen soldier and bring much needed healing to her own family.

Reginald The Vampire (season 2)

In a world of beautiful, fit, and vain vampires, Reginald Andres is an unlikely hero who has to navigate all sorts of obstacles. Along the way, he discovers that he has a few powers of his own.

Resident Alien (season 3)

Alan Tudyk is cast as an alien that crash-landed in a small Colorado town with a secret mission to kill all humans. The show's upcoming third season, which is currently in the works, has been cut down from 12 episodes to eight.

The Recruit (season 2)

The thriller stars Noah Centineo who plays a fledgling lawyer at the CIA who becomes entangled in dangerous international power politics. The series was renewed for a second season in January this year.

Riverdale (season 7)

The popular show is known for its Vancouver-based film sets and wild plot. Locals can visit the more famous "Vancouverdale" landmarks around the city.
