Hans Zimmer will be bringing his massive film score catalogue to Rogers Arena in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»in October 2024.

Hans Zimmer is one of the most awarded composers of the last 30 years, with Oscars, Grammys, BAFTAs, and even a Stephen Hawking Medal for Science Communication.

Known for his film scores, which includes the iconic music in Inception, the swashbuckling Pirates of the Caribbean, the recent Oscar-winning score for Dune, along with (deep breath) Top Gun: Maverick, Blade Runner 2049, Interstellar, Gladiator, The Dark Night, The Holiday and literally dozens of others, he's one of the biggest film music composers of all time (along with John Williams).

Fun fact: he got his start playing keys in bands in the late 1970s (at one point he worked with the Buggles and can be seen in their "Video Killed the Radio Star"  playing the keys dressed in black), but he's been composing for the screen since the 1980s.

And while film scores aren't commonly heard on arena tours, Zimmer will be doing just that this year. The concert tour is supporting his recent album.

With dates set across North America, he'll be stopping by at  in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»on Oct. 6, the last date he currently has scheduled as part of the Hans Zimmer Live tour.

"In a groundbreaking audio and visual show, the multiple Academy Award and Grammy-winning Zimmer, his band and the orchestra will perform a selection of the composer’s scores from some of cinema’s biggest films," reads the tour's website.
