Cars are a popular topic in Vancouver, from "Forumla 1" discussions among fans to the many luxury cars casually cruising downtown. Now, monster trucks have entered the chat.
Next spring, car and truck enthusiasts can watch 12,000-pound monster trucks perform backflips, vertical two-wheel tricks and race against each other up to 70 miles per hour.
The is revving up at the Pacific Coliseum from March 17 to 19, 2023, giving Vancouverites a chance to see the monstrous machines and their drivers. The event will feature eight skilled athletes, including world champions, who will compete in freestyle, skills, and racing competitions.
On the last two days of the event, monster truck fans can attend a Monster Jam Pit Party where they can meet their favourite drivers and crews, get autographs and take photos, see the monster trucks up close, and get an insider's look into the world of monster trucks.
The driver lineup includes Monster Jam World Finals High Jump champion Ryan Anderson driving Son-uva Digger, two-time Guinness World Record title holder Bari Musawwir driving Zombie, Cynthia Gauthier driving Lucas Stabilizer, Tyler Menninga driving Grave Digger, and others.
