Ever wanted to go to Jurassic Park but have been hampered by the fact it doesn't exist?
The "Jurassic World Live Tour" looks like it's the next best thing.
The family-friendly arena show is coming to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»with 24 true-to-film dinosaurs and live actors performing stunts. It'll be making its Canadian premiere at the Pacific Coliseum on May 19, 2023, with two weekends of shows booked.
"Jurassic World comes to life against a backdrop of captivating scenery where dinosaurs from the iconic franchise, including fan-favourite Velociraptor Blue and a Tyrannosaurus rex more than 40 feet in length, take centre stage," states a press release.
The show will follow scientists trying to stop a corrupt plan and save a new dinosaur.
The show will feature the score and scenery from the Jurassic World franchise (including Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous), with gyrospheres and the jungle of Isla Nublar.
Along with the performance, attendees can arrive early and meet the dinosaurs and see the vehicles from the iconic franchise. There'll even be photo ops with some, like the triceratops, stegosaurus, and a Jurassic World Jeep.
The May 19–21 and May 26–28 with shows once a day on Fridays, three times on Saturdays and twice on Sundays. Tickets go on sale Dec. 20, but there are presale tickets available. Tickets range from $20 to $115 (plus fees).
