How does a weekend full of sports events at the beach sound?
The 15th annual returns to Kitsilano Beach from Aug. 11 to 13 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The sports and art beach festival boasts a wide range of sports events while promoting active living in the community.
In addition to the sports events, the festival also offers a Kids Fun Zone for young children to explore art, music, dance, and sports.
There will also be a beer garden that will be open all weekend.

The tournament is led by former Canada's National Women's Basketball team captain, Misty Thomas.
Time: Friday-Sunday, 9 a.m. - sunset
There will be both recreational and elite volleyball tournaments throughout the weekend.

The tournament will be led by former NFL & CFL Football player Daved Benefield.
