After a groggy Sunday morning wake-up, it's Go Skateboarding Day as well as the summer solstice—the longest daylight run of the  year. June 21st also marks the beginning of summer. Go Skate Day starts at 1pm at , and Vancouver's city streets will be taken over from there. If the rain chooses to fall, the alternate location will be Leeside.
