This Canada Day long weekend, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»welcomes Korean pop idols and artists for an all-ages festival at the Plaza of Nations.
On July 2, from 3:30 to 9 p.m., K-pop Fest will take over the empty lot by the water and transform it into a celebration of Korean culture with music, dance performances from local troupes, family-friendly activities, and food trucks.
Semi-finalist of the South Korean rap TV competition Show Me The Money, Junoflow is headling the festival with special guest DJ Dwoo -- plus sets from other K-pop DJs and artists.
The music is supplemented by face painting, balloon making, ice cream, pizza, and sushi food trucks, plus K-pop merch booths. Would-be dancers are even invited to participate in dance battles and cover contests inspired by iconic K-pop choreography.
And while the event is all-ages, there is also a 19+ area plus a tented area for cooling down.
