Holidays. Hot chocolate. Historic walking tours.

Ok, so maybe they're not the most traditional trio, but this winter around the city's core that includes all three.

The walking tour will focus more on Vancouver's history, including some Hotel Vancouver's secrets, at least one murder, and holiday displays. While on the tour stops will take place inside or under cover to keep people warm, and it'll finish with a private viewing inside the Marine Building, locals' favourite building and then some hot chocolate.

"Our storytellers guide guests through iconic downtown heritage buildings, with tales of scandal, corruption, jealousy, fame, and murder. Guests will enjoy grand holiday displays along the way, and the grand finale is a private viewing inside the Marine Building," states the company in a press release.

The tour is a short-term offer, with only dates in December and January available. The 2-hour tour will run on weekends up until Dec. 27, at which point it is daily until Jan. 7. On weekends there are two times; 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
