This enormous naked bike ride takes place in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»this weekend

Organizers note that nude riders may want to use a seat cover for their bike - faux fur and soft material work best.

No shirt, no pants - no problem!

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»World Naked Bike Ride takes place this month at Third Beach as a positive protest against car culture, oil spills, and pollution.

Participants are encouraged to get creative with their attire - or lack thereof - and wear flashy costumes, cosplay, or bright body-paint. Of course, 'bare as you dare' is part of the fun, but not mandatory. Further, the organizers underscore that sexual behaviour or speech is strictly prohibited. Shoes are highly recommended, and helmets are mandatory.

The event follows a "leave no trace" policy - participants must take everything with them that they bring, including clothes. They are also encouraged to decorate their bikes in protest against oil dependency and in celebration of "the human powered machine." In addition, organizers note that nude riders may want to use a seat cover for their bike - faux fur and soft material work best.

Of course, this year organizers ask that attendees wear face masks and practice physical distancing.

The pre-party begins on Saturday, Aug. 8 at noon where body painting and performances will take place before the ride commences at 8 p.m.
