Are you afraid of the dark?
Maan Farms' terrifying haunted corn maze returns with a different theme every year. While last year’s haunted experience featured a ‘pitch black’ attraction, this year’s offering focuses on 'an abandoned testing facility' and the horrors within - yikes.
"After coming across a video about an abandoned testing facility beneath the farm, a young gentleman named Thomas decided to explore if there was truth to this myth. With a broken flashlight and a partially charged cell phone, Thomas rode his bike to a, seemingly, harmless old barn. Thomas, now trapped with no cell service, scavenges from room to room trying to grasp his new reality that the myth is true and Maan Farms is guarded by terrifying creatures and some of the most frightening monsters imaginable," explains the organizers.
Each customer will be taking the role of Thomas.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Maan Farms will be operating at reduced capacity, which is expected to translate to a more intimate and immersive experience. The Maan Family suggests that all guests fuel up at Mama Maan’s Country Kitchen with some farm-fresh bites and a glass of wine from Maan Farm’s Estate Winery before embarking on this terrifying adventure.
Discounted Early Bird Tickets for the haunted corn maze were released on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at $35 per person. On Sept. 16 prices increase to $42 per person.
All tickets must be purchased , as there will be no door ticket sales, and they must be bought in multiples of four, five or six. The grouped ticket option allows Maan Farms to reduce operational costs and accommodate 25-50% of normal capacity.
Maan Farms says it has a strong Covid-19 protocol in place ensuring staff and guests remain safe. All staff and customers are required to sanitize upon arrival, wear a mask at all times and stay physically distanced in the maze and throughout the farm. Participants will not be touched in the corn maze.
Maan Farms is located at 790 McKenzie Road in Abbotsford.
