You can take a tour of the best Christmas light displays in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»on a classic bus

You'll be on Rudolph, the red-nosed New Flyer D40LF

Want to visit some of the best Christmas light displays in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»but don't want to worry about driving or route planning?

The Transit Museum Society (TraMS) has organized a unique way to see Christmas decor with two tours around the city on one of their museum pieces, also known as a bus. Specifically, it's a 1996 New Flyer D40LF that saw service in both Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and Victoria; the bus was acquired by TraMS earlier this year.

And it'll be dressed up as the most famous reindeer of all (if you recall it's Rudolph, the crimsoned-nosed caribou).

The magical journeys through Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»all lit up will take place on Dec. 10 and 17 as the bus meanders through the city's communities for three-and-a-half hours (with a break).

Tickets are $35 for adults; money raised through the tours will go to funding the society, which cares for a number of vintage busses and transit equipment from the Lower Mainland.

When: Dec. 10 and 17, 2022. 7-10:30 p.m.

Where: Starts at Scott Road Station (12515 110 Avenue, Surrey)

Cost: Adults $35 / Children $10
