Jimmy Pattison's new radio station, The Peak 100.5 FM, has this thing every day called "check this shit out" or something to that effect where they feature a new song and they get people to call in and voice their opinion on it. I was pleasantly surprised today to hear that it was Vancouver's own Bend Sinister - friends of mine and one of Grant Lawrence's favourite new bands (did you read yet?)! A regular on Grant's show on CBC Radio 3, it looks like they could be headed for more mainstream airwaves, which is awesome because they're ridiculously talented and passionate musicians.
