With a capacity of over 54,000, the majority of people who go to a game or a concert at BC Place sit in little plastic seats (if they stay seated), hoofing it to the concession whenever they want a snack.
Some, however, get to watch the action from a suite.
One lucky winner (and 13 of their friends) will get to experience the "Concert of a Lifetime" from a suite at the venue, specifically .
Where are the suites at BC Place and what is it like inside them?
The suites are located just above the lower bowl at BC Place, looking out over the massive stadium's field (or stage): suite 38 is on the southern end.
For the winner of BCLC's "Concert of a Lifetime" draw (and their posse), it'll be an A-list view of the stage on Dec. 6, 2024. That's the first night of Taylor Swift's concert dates in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»as the Eras Tour sweeps into town for the final three shows of the global tour.
The prize is more than just some cushiony seats for a concert, though, yes, they are cushiony.
The suite is divided into two spaces, with a bunch of seats outside, for watching the show, and an indoor room for mingling, eating or watching TV.
And, for the Concert of a Lifetime winner, the suite will also have a bunch of swag and extras.
"The Grand Prize suite win includes full food and beverage service, as well as concert merch and swag to take home," according to the BCLC.
Swag details haven't been confirmed yet, they note.
The suite even comes with a dedicated host to make sure the suite winners have a sweet time.
Suite occupants have access to nearby washrooms, monitors to watch (the concert, game or anything else) and more.
So far, four winners have come forward to claim their $25,000 "top prize" and entry into the final draw. Six scratch-and-win tickets may still be out in B.C. stores right now with a chance at the suite. Tickets are $25 each (or two for $44 at Costco).
Whoever wins the draw will be able to bring their own group of 13 Swifties (though if they're under 12 there will need to be at least one adult guardian).
While the BCLC doesn't outright say the "Concert of a Lifetime" is Taylor Swift and The Eras Tour, the date and venue mean it's the first of the music superstar's three Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»shows.
While four Concert of a Lifetime "Golden Tickets" are gone, there are still six others somewhere in B.C.
Of course, it's a scratch-and-win, so all sorts of other lower-denomination cash prizes are also possible to win with the tickets.
Top Prize winners must complete the prize claim and verification process with BCLC by Oct. 25, 2024 at 4 p.m. The Grand Prize draw takes place on Oct. 30, 2024, or sooner, if all Top Prizes are claimed.
Tickets are selling rapidly, and only 250,000 tickets were issued province-wide. Many retailers are continuing to replenish their stock.
The tickets are being sold all around the province at retailers who sell BC Lotto and you have to be 19 to play.
