'I'm spreading positivity while he's spreading hate': Vancouver's bbno$ said more about Elon Musk backstage at the Junos

"If anyone is sieg heil-ing in this day and age, I'm sorry guys, it's like, you don't really do that, right?"

Vancouver's bbno$ shared some thoughts on Elon Musk on stage at the Junos, and then more thoughts backstage.

Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»rapper bbno$ took a moment at the Juno Awards ceremony Sunday, March 30, to send a message to billionaire Elon Musk.

"Elon Musk is a piece of garbage," he shouted at the end of his acceptance speech for Fan Choice Award during the Canadian music awards broadcast.

The crowd in Rogers Arena erupted.

While host Michael Buble claimed not to hear what bbno$ said, Arkells frontman Max Kerman, who was standing with Buble, backed bbno$ up.

"I heard him, and he's right," Kerman said on the broadcast.

Speaking to the media backstage, bbno$ said he called Musk a piece of garbage because he knew anything more explicit would be bleeped on the broadcast.

He also explained that the sentiment came from a specific place.

On the same day Musk gave his infamous salute during Trump's inauguration weekend, the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»rapper was participating in a protest for gay rights.

"I was and we, like, broke the f***ing internet doing that," the rapper shared.

"The same day I did that, [Musk] sieg heil-ed, so he can just eat a piece of s**t," bbno$ added.

He also revealed he wasn't planning on saying anything about Musk but has some strong feelings on the Tesla CEO and ally to U.S. President Donald Trump.

"I mean, like, if anyone is sieg heil-ing in this day and age, I'm sorry guys, it's like, you don't really do that, right?" bbno$told media.

That contrast stood out to him.

"So, I just remember being like, 'You know what, I'm spreading positivity while he's spreading hate,'" said bbno$ "So f**k Elon Musk until I die."

He noted that the comment just came from what he felt.

"Sometimes you gotta just say what you feel, right?"

It wasn't the only political moment at the 2025 Junos, as Canadian pride was front and centre at the awards.
