Barbieland is coming to the real world.
The world still hasn't recovered from the Barbie movie, which had the world -- Vancouverites included -- in a nostalgic frenzy ever since the trailer dropped.
From trailer debut to the movie's release date and the "Barbenheimer" weekend, Vancouver's love for the iconic doll hasn't subsided.
This fall, a West End diner will be transformed into a pink extravaganza where local Barbie fans can immerse themselves in Barbieland.
The event will pop up at Mary's On Davie on Oct. 21 and 22 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., complete with themed cocktails, karaoke, and prizes.
Attendees can join in on a sing-along to Aqua's iconic hit "Barbie Girl," test their Barbie knowledge in a themed trivia (with prizes), and take Instagram-worthy photos all throughout the pink venue.
Tickets are $58 and include a themed drink.
When: Oct. 21-22, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Where: Mary's On Davie - 1202 Davie St
Cost: $58; purchase tickets
