Richmond’s largest sunflower field has opened its doors once again for the season.
The annual sunflower festival, hosted at the Richmond Country Farms, officially opened to the public on Aug. 5.
Spread across 20 acres of farmland at 12900 Steveston Hwy, there are fields with over 50 different types of sunflowers, dahlias, gladiolas and wildflowers.
Doors are open weekdays 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends and holidays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the last wagon heading into the field at 8:30 p.m.
Festival tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
