How many times do you wish...'yeah...I wish I had a photo of that...', my friend John is one of those guys that always did take a photo....and lately he's been getting me more and more stoked on his flikr account to the point where I can't deny it....he's also been shooting skateboard photos since the 70's and snowboard photos since the 80's...so I'll be posting some of that stuff up soon too....

How did this photo come about?
I was 11 years old and vacationing in Hawaii with my parents, that's my dad on the right, me on the left. Â Pele was staying at the same hotel as us and we met him in the lobby.
What makes you almost famous in Vancouver?
Hmm....ME almost famous? Â How about being the first Japanese Canadian snowboarder in the WORLD!?!?!?....I'm just guessing.....
