NEW YORK (AP) 鈥� The author of 鈥淒aisy Jones & The Six鈥� is aiming high with her next book. Taylor Jenkins Reid's 鈥淎tmosphere: A Love Story鈥� is a romance set during the space shuttle program of the 1980s.
Ballantine, a Penguin Random House imprint, will publish 鈥淎tmosphere鈥� on June 3.
鈥淚 have long wanted to tell a sweeping, romantic love story, and when the character of astronomer Joan Goodwin came to me, I knew I had found my way in," Reid said in a statement Wednesday.
According to Ballantine, 鈥淎tmosphere鈥� will tell 鈥渁 passionate and soaring story about the transformative power of love, this time among the stars.鈥� Reid's previous books, which also include 鈥淢alibu Rising鈥� and 鈥淭he Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo,鈥� have sold millions of copies worldwide. 鈥淒aisy Jones & The Six鈥� was adapted into an Emmy-nominated miniseries starring Riley Keough.
