Coming off a 16-15 city championship win over Lord Byng, Kits opened the regional tournament with a 12-33 loss to West Vancouver, playing at St. George's secondary May 10. They advanced through the repecharge semi-final May 12 because Prince of Wales had previously dropped out before a quarter-final meeting against Saints.Ìý
The quarter-finals were hosted by St. George's on a warm Tuesday afternoon. The next round was held May 12 at North Vancouver's Klahanie Field.

Lord Byng lost 46-13 to Carson Graham in the quarter-finals. The host Saints advanced past Prince of Wales without breaking a sweat and defeated West Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»62-12 to set up a Lower Mainland title bout against Carson Graham for the NZ Shield at Brockton Oval May 19.Ìý
The Lower Mainland champion will represent the region at the AAAA B.C. Championship, which is a new tiering structure indtroduced this year to address disparity in senior boys rugby.
