Rugby: Kitsilano beats Argyle and returns to BCs

The Kitsilano Blue Demons knocked off the Argyle Pipers with a 20-15 win at Prince of Wales secondary May 17 to claim the fifth and final Lower Mainland berth the senior boys rugby provincial championships.

The Kitsilano Blue Demons knocked off the Argyle Pipers with a 20-15 win at Prince of Wales secondary May 17 to claim the fifth and final Lower Mainland berth the senior boys rugby provincial championships.

Kitsilano slots into the AAA Tier II tournament at the B.C. title bout, set for Abbotsford's Rotary Stadium May 25 to 28.

The Demons are joined in Tier II by West Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­secondary while Handsworth represents the zone at Tier I. St. George's School and Carson Graham secondary play for the honour of competing in the newly created AAAA B.C. championship while the loser slots in at Tier I.Ìý
