The All-Stars from South Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»play a knock-out semi-final game against Southwest Little League from Lethbridge, Alta. atthe Little League Canadian Championships at 1 p.m. PST on Saturday, Aug. 9.
South Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Little League, which represents B.C. at the national tournament, beat the Alberta team 9-8 in their round-robin meeting Aug. 1 and finished third overall in the standings.
Ontario’s High Park Braves finished first after an undefeated showing, including a 5-2 win over South Van on Aug. 4. They play Quebec at 10 a.m. PST on Saturday for a shot at the final.

The South Van All-Stars finished with four wins and two losses. Their second loss came to NDG Little League, from Montreal and representing Quebec, who edged the B.C. team 4-3 on Aug. 7. South Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»held a 3-0 lead until the fourth inning when Quebec hit two home runs, including a three-run homer, off two different pithers and held the lead.
