The B.C. Sports Hall of Fame opens its new and highly anticipatedÌýIndigenous Sport Gallery today, at Gate A inside of BC Place Stadium.
Starting from Sept. 26, the gallery will be open daily from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The Indigenous Sport Gallery will celebrate the rich history and many contributions to sport by First Nations and Metis athletes, teams, coaches, builders and volunteers in B.C. Further, the gallery attempts to remedy the fact that Indigenous athletes and teams have not been properly celebrated and honoured over the course of our province’s history.
