It is a special week for hockey fans, players and Daniel and Henrik Sedin as the twins announced their early this week. Their last night at Rogers Arena.
The whole city has been honouring the hockey superstars in many ways. On Twitter, people expressed their gratitude to the classy twins using hashtag #ThankYouSedins. TransLink also put “Thank you Daniel and Henrik” on the virtual screens across some SkyTrain and bus stations in Metro Vancouver, including Canada Line.
The Canucks won 4-3 in overtimeĚýagainst the Arizona Coyotes. Even though the game was Sedins’ last home game, the twins will play the final game of their careers Saturday night in Edmonton.
