Crofton House School defeated West Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»rivals Collingwood 2-1 to win the Independent School Athletic Association senior girls field hockey championship Sept. 24 at Shawnigal Lake.
Danielle Cohen fired in the winning shot.Â
Christie Gray said the team was proud to bring the hardware back to the school.
"It's an honour to come to a tournament, play together as a team, and accomplish our goal -- bringing home the trophy," she said. "I love field hockey and the Varsity field hockey team at CHS is by far my favourite team I have ever been a part of. What a great start to the season!"Â
