Six-storey condo proposed to replace single-family homes on East Broadway

Project, which is being considered under the Grandview-Woodland plan, includes 87 units

A six-storey residential building could replace six single-family homes along East Broadway between Lakewood and Garden Drives.

A rezoning application for property at 2209 to 2249 East Broadway with the City of Vancouver, which envisions a project including 87 strata-titled units, a 95 underground parking and 109 bicycle spaces.

It’s being considered under the Grandview-Woodland Community Plan.

An open house runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Technical secondary school at 2600 East Broadway on April 1.

Epix Developments Ltd. and Taylor Kurtz Architecture + Design Inc. are involved in the project, which is currently schedule to go before the Urban Design Panel April 3.
