The Real Estate Council of B.C. will hold a disciplinary hearing today and tomorrow into the conduct of a longtime North 鶹ýӳreal estate agent.

Trevor Inglis of North Vancouver’s Remax Crest Realty is alleged to have “engaged in deceptive dealing” by faking or altering a document to create a supposed sale offer on a property in Pemberton Heights in 2013.

According to details in the real estate council’s notice of hearing, Inglis, who was co-listing a property on Graveley Street with another real estate agent, made a “false statement” on Feb. 20, 2014, when he told that agent in a phone message “that the offer on the property had been handed to you by a person attending an open house” on Oct. 6, 2013, “when this statement was not true.”

The complaint alleges Inglis made a further “false statement” to the council on March 7, 2014, when he stated the handwriting on the offer wasn’t his.

The complaint also alleges that when Inglis found out a complaint had been made to the real estate council he committed “conduct unbecoming of a licensee” by threatening retaliation against the co-listing agent, stating he would “not ever do any deals with or process and offers presented” to him by that agent and/or threatened to ”blackball” that agent.

None of the allegations have been proven. The real estate board is expected to hear testimony about the complaint April 18 and 19.

Inglis referred all questions to his lawyer Wes McMillan, who declined to comment on the hearing.

The specific property involved in the deal is not named in the hearing notice; however, Inglis did have a four-bedroom home on Graveley Street listed for sale for $1.2 million in the fall of 2013. It sold for just under that price in December 2013. The property is currently assessed at $2.1 million.
