ÌýA 55-unit, six-storey residential building is proposed for a land assembly near the Little Mountain development site.

The proposal, for which a rezoning application , involves property from 4906 to 4970 Quebec St.

It’s currently zoned for single family and the proposal is to change it to comprehensive development under the Little Mountain Adjacent Area

That policy provides direction for rezoning applications for a mostly single-family area by the 15-acre Little Mountain site at 33rd and Main Street. It allows consideration to be given to low- to mid-rise apartments from four to six storeys on the properties identified in the rezoning proposal.

Aside from 55 strata units, the rezoning proposal outlines plans for 64 underground parking spaces and 69 bicycle spaces.

Ciccozzi Architecture Inc. is designing the building, while Durante Kreuk Ltd. is behind the landscape plan.

An open house runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at Phoenix Gymnastics, 4588 Clancy Loranger Way, on Nov. 5.
