Four-storey building proposed for single-family lots in Langara neighbourhood

Three single-family lots on West 49th at Alberta Street in the Langara neighbourhood could be rezoned to allow for a mixed-use, four-storey building with 51 market residential units. The application is being considered under the Cambie Corridor Plan.

Three single-family lots on West 49th at Alberta Street in the Langara neighbourhood could be rezoned to allow for a mixed-use, four-storey building with 51 market residential units.

The application is being considered under the Cambie Corridor Plan.

Matthew Cheng Architect Inc. , located between 319 and 359 West 49th, on behalf of property owner Killarney Enterprises Ltd. An open house is set for April 29.

Matthew Cheng Architect Inc. filed an application to rezone the properties, located between 319 and 359 West 49th, on behalf of property owner Killarney Enterprises Ltd.

Aside from studio, one, two and three-bedroom condos, the new building would feature five commercial units.

There would also be 56 vehicle parking spaces and 72 bicycle spaces.

The April 29th open house runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Peretz Centre at 6184 Ash St.
