Now that we have had our first snow squall of 2012, I am begging fellow West Enders please get a shovel and get a little exercise by scraping away all the snow and ice. Do not salt the earth. Thats what you do on your enemys territory so nothing grows.

I just came back from a hospital, walking across the street at a light. A lady in a white car was turning across the street, gabbing away with a friend, and then realized the light was going to turn red. I was halfway across the street. She beeped at me and swore at me. Youre at a hospital, for Gods sake. How did you know I wasnt coming out of surgery? I had something wrong with my knee and I was walking quite slowly so dont beep and bitch at me when youre the one who should be paying attention.

TransLink wants a 12 and a half per cent fare increase. Are they kidding? I think we should fire 12 and a half per cent of the management personnel. Where are all the gates? Why not make sure people pay for their ride first before charging more for the people who do pay? No more increases until we get a basic level of service.
