For a while Ive been going into the Parks Board office to complaining about the mens washroom at English Bay. Theres a homeless person who does his laundry in there. He stands there cranked out on drugs and if you get near the dryers he yells and screams at you. Then theres the other guy who is living in there and he and his buddies are all drinking and smoking there. The Parks Board people will do nothing. They need to get in there and get rid of the guys who are living in there.

Hallelujah to Anon.for noticing what I have complained about before to the security at the Denman Mall. There is a notice on all mall entrances that states no dogs allowed. I made the mistake of saying something to a senior who tied up her dog and went shopping for over half an hour. She was pretty rude about her little whiteyapper! Even the merchants are fed up with this blatant disregard of the health regulations. This is costing them business as we do take our shopping dollars elsewhere.

Today I passed a uniformed Translink employee puffing away in the doorway of a restaurant. Smokers are expelling certified heavy doses of toxins into the air that we breathe. Could you find a private, unobtrusive place to do it? You look like the quintessential loser hovering in our public doorways, building entrances, public parks, beaches etc. The stench is so poisonous and offensive that my natural reaction is to puke. Isnt that reason enough for you to consider that what you are doing is a really bad thing? Enjoy your long, dragged out, painful, expensive death sentence that the rest of us are forced to fund, but keep me out of your exhaust path.

I thought we paid BC Ferries CEO David Hahn millions because he was so much smarter than the rest of us. I could have run BC Ferries into the ground all by myself for less than $70,000 a year!

What is the matter with Vancouverites? They are rude, rude, rude. They group together in the middle of the sidewalk so no one can pass them. They dress like slobs. They let their dogs shit all over the place. They lack regular bathing. They spit and loudly clear their throats everywhere. They are a cold, unfriendly, lot. Im ashamed.

Here is a big shout-out for the gorgeous and dazzling green Rufous hummingbird thats visiting the plants on my balcony. She survived through all the frost, which I thought she wouldnt. Apparently shes finding nectar and aphids and other things to eat in the green plants. Shes just a joy to watch. Bring on global warming; I love the Rufous hummingbird.
