Re: "Anton puts 'goofy' spin on Stanley Cup riot," June 29.
Had Suzanne Anton been the mayor during the Stanley Cup riot, she would be in the same damn place she accuses [Mayor] Gregor (Robertson) of being. I am so very tired of Suzanne's insane verbal rants against Gregor. Nobody could have foreseen what happened after the Canucks lost. It was a chaos that came out of nowhere. It was perpetrated by punks that, in their entire lives, have never faced a consequence for any of their nasty actions. Gregor and (Police Chief) Jim (Chu) did the very best they could and kudos to them both. Kudos also to the folks who faced that riot's fire and those that helped douse the flames afterward.
Suzanne, try and get a grip on how you are coming across to the general public with your rants against the mayor. I'm sure there is a medication that your doctor can prescribe to help what ails you. Gregor is taking the high road and trying to find solutions while you are doing what? He is a better man than you are, Suzanne.
