I would like to thank the thousands of generous Clothesline donors in British Columbia. Your donations of gently used clothing, small household items and electronics help to raise muchneeded funding to support the more than nine million Canadians living with diabetes or prediabetes. Clothesline raises $33.5 million annually with net proceeds used to fund diabetes research in British Columbia, advocacy on behalf of British Columbians living with diabetes, summer camps for children with type 1 diabetes, and crucial education and services. Clothesline is able to raise these essential funds through our exclusive 26-year partnership with Value Village, which purchases all donated clothing and household items. There is no "fee" for use of the name of the association as was referenced in Ms. Thomas' article.
Clothesline donation boxes accept clothing and all cloth-based items from coast to coast. Every red Clothesline donation box is facilitated by a "drop box host" with a written agreement. No Clothesline donation boxes are located on public land without permission.
