To the editor:
After living in apartments for the last 20 years and knowing that I'll never be able to afford a simple house in this over-inflated city, a city that is full of developers who continually buy up and take away affordable rental stock to be replaced with overpriced tiny condos, the laneway houses give a little hope to those that may not want to live in an apartment building but actually feel like you are living in a small single family home with a small piece of grass. Why should a majority have to live this way while a few preserve their neighbourhoods and refuse to have the slightest densification happen? I am a fed-up, taxpaying Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»resident who is completely for laneway housing.
