Re: "Foreign ownership helps drive dysfunctional housing market," Jan. 18.
I'm so amazed at Mark Hasiuk's column. It was exactly my opinion, which I have been telling my friends since last year. Our government should really do something to help local working people get affordable housing rather than let the investors take control. Why not follow Australia, or as far as I know, some big cities in China already have policies in place to discourage the housing bubble. For those who confuse this as a racist issue, I sincerely suggest them to do a reality check.
