Re: "Letter of the Week," July 1.
Courier letter writer Paul Richards' bad experience with the Jehovah Witnesses has nothing to do with the Falun Gong philosophy. Often, excerpts of religious teachings which are taken out of context don't make any sense on their own, and the end result being that it projects a rigid image rather than showing the true picture. The core belief of Falun Gong of the Buddha school is truth, compassion and forbearance. What's not to like?
