Re: "Network news," 12th & Cambie, Dec. 28.
Mike Howell failed to mention a couple of important points about the downtown separated bike lanes. One is the 40 per cent to 80 per cent year-over-year increase in cycling in those lanes: 53,000 trips in November alone. The other is the "nightmare for business owners," which all but disappeared when they were asked to prove it. Lately, it's only desperate columnists who continue to try to make it a "polarizing issue."
