City hall wins over taxed homeowners

To the editor: Re: 12th & Cambie, "Tax and shift," Nov. 16. So now we know. During the period 2006-2011, while inflation was 11 per cent, business taxes increased 5.51 per cent and residential taxes increased 33.55 per cent.

residential taxes increased 33.55 per cent.

If you're a homeowner, you truly can't beat city hall.
