Re: "Cruising solo to Alaska a satisfying journey," Sept. 16.
Well, I was thoroughly impressed with the adventurous nature of Brenda Jones on this fascinating trip. The journey my husband and I took on our Harleys to San Diego, down the coast and back up through the desert, pales in comparison.
But it is right up there with the walk I took to the public library the other day, all by myself. And I took a different route each way!
Seriously, can't you guys find a better vacation story to publish after the summer? This sounds like an ad for the cruise ship industry. She barely mentions any of the sights in Alaska, preferring to focus on the fun-filled activities on the ship.
Why even bother leaving port?
