Members of a northern B.C. First Nation are appealing for help after irreplaceable items were allegedly stolen from a van outside a downtown hotel late Tuesday night.
Several posts from members of the Lake Babine Nation are circulating on Facebook, showing drums, regalia and clothing that were stolen from a van near the Delta Hotel on Hastings Street.
鈥淭his is irreplaceable and is our traditional regalia used for our ceremonies and traditional practices,鈥� Darren Simon Patrick wrote on Facebook.
Patrick added that members of the First Nation are in 麻豆传媒映画to perform a welcoming ceremony at the Gathering Wisdom Conference being staged at the 麻豆传媒映画Convention Centre.
