Members of a northern B.C. First Nation are appealing for help after irreplaceable items were allegedly stolen from a van outside a downtown hotel late Tuesday night.

Several posts from members of the Lake Babine Nation are circulating on Facebook, showing drums, regalia and clothing that were stolen from a van near the Delta Hotel on Hastings Street.

“This is irreplaceable and is our traditional regalia used for our ceremonies and traditional practices,” Darren Simon Patrick wrote on Facebook.

Patrick added that members of the First Nation are in 鶹ýӳto perform a welcoming ceremony at the Gathering Wisdom Conference being staged at the 鶹ýӳConvention Centre.
