Starting on Monday, Dec. 30, Environment Canada calls for periods of rain or drizzle and a high of 7 C followed by a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight. Rainfall amounts of five to 10 mm are expected. Following that, Tuesday's forecast calls for 30 to 40 mm of rainfall during the day with a high of 7 C.听
Wednesday and Thursday are expected to see rain, with daily highs of 10 C and 6 C听respectively. However, Thursday will dip down to a chilly 3 C low overnight.
The forecast calls rain on Saturday and Sunday during the day with periods of rain or snow overnight.听

B.C. Winter Forecast
Back in September, the Weather Network predicted that British Columbia听would have a milder winter, but that December was a 鈥渨ild card.鈥�
Since then,听the winter forecast has been updated听to include the most recent prediction, which calls for milder temperatures along the B.C. coast and across much of Northern B.C. While northeastern B.C. to the southern interior will see near normal temperatures.
While the north coast region is 鈥渆xpected to see above average rainfall and alpine snow,鈥� the south coast region is expected to be drier than normal. With this in mind, the forecast adds that this dry pattern may break at times during the season. During these breaks, the Lower Mainland could have the 鈥減otential to see several weeks鈥� worth of precipitation in just five to 10 days.鈥�
