After a rare snow day yesterday, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»students will be heading back to class Thursday.
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»School Board, as well as the University of B.C. and Simon Fraser University, all announced early this morning that classes are back in session today.

Significant snowfall overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday – leading to across the region, , with both TransLink and the provincial government advising residents to avoid all but essential travel.
This morning, TransLink is warning customers that service might still be slower than usual.

And with some snowfall overnight and temperatures hovering around freezing, the city of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»said this morning that crews are focusing on clearing major routes, and some roads with hills have been closed.

Due to the snowfall overnight and below freezing temperatures, our crews are currently focused on clearing the key routes and have closed some steep hills for the safety of residents. Our crews are working 24/7 to clear over 1,500km of main routes.
