While a wind warning is still in effect for Metro Vancouver, it looks like the area might see some sunshine over the weekend.Â
Environment Canada is calling for periods of rain during the day and showers at night on Friday, with strong winds of up to 70 km/h blowing across coastal B.C. from midday Friday until Saturday morning.
However, Saturday is expected to be dry, with skies clearing later in the morning.Â
Saturday is also expected to see a high of 8°C during the day and a low of -1°C overnight. Sunday is expected be sunny with a high of 7°C and a low of -1°C, too.
Monday's forecast calls for sunshine with a high of 6°C during the day; the evening is expected to dip down to 1°C. Tuesday is also expected to be dry, but cloudy.
The rain is expected to return on Wednesday night, with the forecast calling for a 60 per cent chance of showers.Â

While Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»has seen some brief moments of sunshine, there has been at least a trace amount of precipitation each day over the last 28 days. At other times, the city has seen a staggering amount of rain or snow accumulate in a matter of hours or days. For instance, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»received a 34 centimetres of snowfall in five days earlier this month.Â
